10 Stunning Metallic Epoxy Design Ideas for Montgomery Homes
Real metallic floor design directions from our portfolio — color combinations, room applications, and what the homeowner actually got at install day.

Metallic epoxy is the most personal floor we install. Every one is hand-crafted, every one is unique, and every one reflects the homeowner's aesthetic in a way that pre-fabricated flooring simply cannot. Here are ten design directions from our recent Montgomery and River Region portfolio, with notes on the color palette, the technique we used, and how the floor turned out in the homeowner's space.
1. Eastern Blvd Slate (Master Garage, Wynlakes)
Two-color metallic — deep charcoal base with silver highlights, hand-blown into mountain-range swirls. Finished with two high-gloss polyurethane coats for mirror depth. The homeowner's white Range Rover photographs like a magazine ad on this floor.
2. Copper Lava (Detached Workshop, Pike Road)
Three-color blend of warm copper, deep bronze, and black, manipulated with isopropyl alcohol drips to create molten-metal pooling. The workshop tools and tan walls glow against this floor.
3. Ocean Pearl (Walk-Out Basement, Wetumpka)
Pearl white over deep teal base with soft silver highlights. The homeowner wanted a 'calm, beach house' feel for a basement yoga and meditation space. Finished with a satin clear coat to soften reflections.
4. Forge Black (Commercial Showroom, Montgomery)
Pure carbon black metallic with subtle silver lightning veins. Installed in a luxury car detailing showroom on Eastern Blvd. The depth of the floor draws every customer's eye on entry.
5. Garden District Marble (Front Foyer, Cloverdale)
Cream and warm gray with hints of copper, finished to mimic veined Italian marble. Installed in a Cloverdale historic home foyer where actual marble would have cost 10x more and weighed too much for the original 1920s subfloor.
6. Auburn Orange (Man Cave, Auburn)
Two-color blend of burnt orange and deep navy, with white pearl highlights. Yes, it's a War Eagle floor. Yes, the homeowner loves it. Yes, we talked through resale value first.
7. Brushed Steel (Garage, Prattville)
Cool gray over a slightly warmer gray base, with brushed-metal texture worked in with a roller technique. Looks like a polished steel sheet. The homeowner's modern white-and-gray house wraps around it perfectly.
8. Whiskey Barrel (Bar/Game Room, East Chase)
Three-color blend of golden amber, deep mahogany, and black, with thick movement and pooling. The homeowner's basement bar pours straight onto this floor and it photographs like spilled bourbon.
9. Pearl Cream (Salon, Auburn)
Soft pearl white over a warm beige base. Installed in a high-end Auburn beauty salon to match the brand's calm, neutral aesthetic. Anti-slip aggregate added to clear coat for stylist safety.
10. Storm Cloud (Garage, Selma)
Multi-tone gray and white blend with dramatic silver pooling. The homeowner wanted a floor that looked like 'rolling Alabama thunderstorms.' We delivered.
